230 Fifth is known for having one of the best views of inner Manhattan. The bar has lounge, table and bar seating inside with dim vibrant lighting. The outdoor rooftop lounge is the main highlight for 230 Fifth attracting visitors from all over the world. This venue may be a little bit difficult for newcomers to find. When entering the building, no need to check in with the front desk unless there is a special event. Proceed straight through and soon you’ll see a set of elevators. Take it to the top floor then you’ll be greeted by a posh cozy interior that is dimly lit. Upstairs & to your left is a seating area (you must order all food/drinks through the server if you sit here) and to the right is a common seating area with no server. There’s a great view of the empire state building, and in the distance you can see the Chrysler building.
The largest outdoor garden rooftop trimmed with misters or heaters during the seasons under an open sky. The bar menu offers something for both the vegetarian and meat lovers. Cocktails are plentiful from martinis to hot cocktails with tasty flavors and liquors for $14. Make a night of it with appetizers under $14, entrees under $20 and simple desserts. For locals and visitors there’s a weekend brunch menu starting at $29 for adults and $15 for children. Official Website
